For the first time in the sport's history, every athlete in Team South Africa (Team SA) returned home adorned with a medal, a testament to their exceptional skills and hard work.

In the individual kumite competitions, Shivaan Ramdhial narrowly missed a gold medal in the under-55kg category, taking home silver instead. Meanwhile, Sahastra Ramtahal triumphed in the Girls +66kg Kumite division, bringing home a bronze medal. Earlier in the tournament, bronze medals were also awarded to Rio Cruz in Kumite 76kg and Galliano Boni in Individual Kata, solidifying their talent in both individual and team events.
